An original watercolour of St Michael's Mount, Cornwall. I wanted to incorporate the sea glass I found on the beaches in Mount's Bay into a painting of St Micheal's Mount, the fairy tale castle in the sea! It is reached by a causeway that is covered twice a day by the tide. One of the most magical spots in Cornwall!
Each piece of sea glass is carefully drilled and wired to the painting to look like a cobble, puddle or seaweed.
My name is Sarah and with my husband, Andrew, we are Cornish Walking Trails. We upload video to YouTube of our walking adventures in Cornwall.
